late blooms

Even this late in the growing season we still have things blooming! We have about 3 weeks until our first hard frost, and still the flowers are setting on a bunch of squash. It is a thin line between putting row covers on them to protect from night time temperatures and breezes that strip moisture from the plant and allowing the flowers to be pollinated by the bees so we get squash to eat.
