favorite things

As the weather begins to change, I am drawn to thoughts of things I love, my favorite things. A short, not including everything, list:

-our various progeny appear to be happy, healthy, whole. such a comfort

-drywall up on the walls, taped and mudded, clean, straight ready for paint

-delicious meals in the last 2 days: Green Room/Carlisle, Atwaters/ Baltimore, Woodberry Kitchen/Baltimore

-flannel sheets, down duvet, down pillow

-baby Arucana chicks, and the promise of green/blue/purple eggs

-vegetables growing under lights, ready for spring

-surviving fire in the house

-family and friends
